Events and End-of-Life Education

A free seminar, available at your convenience, for your community program or group: "Communicating End-of-Life Wishes," offered by the Colorado Center for Hospice & Palliative Care. We have presenters statewide, ready to come to your location to present this 45-minute interactive PowerPoint program. The presentation covers why and how to talk about what you might want or not want in medical treatment and care at the end of life. Ongoing support for persons dealing with grief and loss is provided by Heartlight Center, Inc., Denver. Support groups for sudden loss, loss of a parent, young widows, children, and many more are offered on a regular basis. Special education programs and discussion groups are also available.
