"Palliative Care Best Practice in Long Term Care / Hospice", 2008.  Developed by collaboration between Colorado Health Care Association and Colorado Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, this manual has been presented at several state and national conferences.  This best practice also includes our Long Term Care / Hospice Integrated Care Plan.

"Brief Paper: Hospice Market Basket, Wage Index, and Budget Neutrality Adjustment Factor", 2008.  By Cordt Kassner, PhD, this brief paper addresses national hospice reimbursement concerns.

"Commentary and Position Statement on Deactivation of Implanted Cardiac Devices in Hospice Patients", 2007.  Position Statement developed by Jennifer Ballentine and the Center's Quality/Standards Committee.

"Hospice in a Skilled Nursing Facility - a Model for Success", 1999.  A manual developed by hospice and long-term care professionals, covering the delivery of hospice care to residents within skilled nursing facilities, and indicating whether specific responsibilities lie with the hospice program, the nursing facility, or jointly.
